Description
This writing slope has a beautiful patina and has a new black leather writing surface. It comes with original lock but appears not to work and has no key. The hinges are all brass but are replacements.
The interior desk has three secret compartments but interior latch board (usually hides the compartments) is missing. This desk has a lot of history and was well used (small ink spills on interior) – name of original owner still on box (see pictures). Also one of the front brass pieces is missing.
