Antique Writing Box Desk And Quill Pen.
This listing is for the antique writing box and quill pen being sold as a set. It also comes with a new black leather slope with glue (all provided, if original slope is not desirable). In this case, which is rare – felt the original slope matched box well with pen.
It’s made of two tone wood, oak with Burr Elm and has the original hardware. It is decorated with a lovely center diamond shape of wood and inlaid mother of pearl on the top of the box. There is no key for this box. This box has been used but is still very nice and all original. This item was purchased from original family who owned it (took good care of it considering its age). The original slope (which is purple is still great to the touch and has been much used.
The antique quill pen is 6” and has a 7 1/4” small leather case lined in purple velvet, the pen is wood with a silver quill. The case has one latch missing.
